Terafil filter is produced from mixture of red clay (silt clay), river sand and wood sand dust, without using chemicals. The average diameter of the capillary opening in this clay wall of the Terafil is in sub microns size. 

Therefore almost all suspended practices and microbes etc. present in raw water are unable travel along with filtered water inside the Terafil filter soluble iron and some heavy metals present in raw water are also removed by ion-exchange or absorption process.
